Of the Trinities, Brahmas job is creation, Shiva along with Shakti is eternally recreating and dissolving and the job of Vishnu is the control and administer what is created and being recreated. So He is called, “Sthiti Samrakshana karaka”
If you cannot recite the long mantras and cannot do the given brief ritualistic Pooja, you can simply recite the short but effective Shiva Beeja Mantra: “Om Namo Narayanaya or Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. ॐ नमो नारायणाय OR ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय ”
You can recite one Mala or 108 times or whatever number of times you can. Remember – faith is more important than rituals.
