The Sama Veda style of reciting is indeed unique and very melodious. It is also very difficult master as it is very complicated. See the following example to get an an idea of the complex system involved both in text & recital.
Give bellow are the two lines of verse 594 of Sama Veda Samhita.
The verse is then broken down with notations and transformed into the Gaana or recital text as given underneath. You can listen to the pundits chanting the Gaana text.
