His Holiness the Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam was arrested on the night of 11 November 2004 at Hyderabad, sending shock waves throughout India. It is the blackest day in the 1500 history of Kamakothi Peetahm, which is the citadel of Hinduism since Adi Shankaracharya established it. Jayalalita and her fanatic DMK cronies have committed an atrocity, which even the notorious rulers like Mohd. Ghazni, Aurangajeb and the British didn’t dare.
My Forecast: On 31st December 2004, I was invited by the Zee News to give live forecasts for their special New Year night 10.00 PM to 11.00 PM program. Miss Sheetal Rajput asked me about the Shankaracharya case and I predicted that he will be free from the 12th January 2005 (When his Mercury/Saturn/Venus dasa start as shown in chart) but till 23rd March (as Saturn is retrograde) in his troubles and tensions will continue and before Saturn returns to Cancer on 29th May, he will be completely free of all the charges.
The Supreme court granted him bail on 10th January. He came out of jail on the 11th January 2005.
