Sloak. -57. If the degrees attained by the Moon in Mesha and the other signes respectively, 8, 25, 22, 22, 21, 1, 4, 23,18, 20, 20, 10, they indicate death when a muhurta, a birth or, other such points are under consideration. In this sloka Vaidyanatha Dikshita gives the Moon’s Mrityubhagas or fateful portions in the several signs. These are more are less identical with those given in Sarwartha Chintamani and Saravali.
But in the two works Brihat prajapatya and Phdadeepika the Mrityubhagas of the Moon in the several signs from Mesha are given as 26, 12, 13, 25, 24
11, 26, 14,13, 25, 5 and 12 respectively.
