If the hora lagna is occupied by the planets which are related to 2nd and 11th house of the natal horoscope, the results are benefic in terms of these bhavas. If the hora lagna is occupied by the planets connected to 12th house of the natal chart, the results are malefic. While interpreting hora chart, retrogression and maleficence of planets should always be kept in mind.
Comments :
- If the Sun along with Jupiter, Mercury and Venus is posited in hora lagna then the native becomes rich, respected, kingly and a prominent leader.
- If the Moon occupies the hora lagna with the above mentioned benefics then the native becomes religious, righteous, prosperous, happy and blessed with good children.
- If the Sun occupies its own hora as hora lagna lord in the hora chart then the native would be ambitious and luxurious.
- If the Moon occupies its own hora as hora lagna lord in the hora chart then the native would be peaceful, faithful to mother, shy, contended and interested in agriculture.
Parashara
In hora Jupiter, Sun and Mars give results of Sun’s hora. Moon, Venus and Saturn give results like Moon’s hora. Mercury give mixed results in hora lagna. Mercury in even signs would be like in Moon’s hora and in odd signs would be like in Sun’s hora. If the Sun is within first 15 degrees then the results would be strong and if in last 15 degrees then results will not be very strong. But Moon’s results will be just opposite.
Varahmihira
If malefics posited in odd signs (in the natal chart) occupy the hora of Sun in the hora chart, the native becomes famous, enterprising, prosperous and glorious. If benefics posited in even signs (in the natal chart) occupy the hora of Moon in hora chart, the native becomes humble, glorious, happy, fortunate, intelligent and a eloquent speaker. But if the malefics are posited in even signs and benefics in odd signs (in the natal chart), the above characteristics shall be less prominent. If the planets are posited/aspected by malefics (in the natal chart) and they are fulfilling other conditions in the hora chart, the above results shall be very weak.
