Realizing that it is not possible for everyone to follow the same path to God, the liberal and open-minded Hindu Vedic system has prescribed several ways to attain salvation. They are – Pooja, Tantra, mantra, meditation, yoga, Japa and stotra path. The last two are the easiest to follow. One can pick and choose ones path as per ones attitudinal and spiritual inclinations.
Japa is the continuous reciting of a name or a verse. It may appear to be easy but it gets monotonous and the concentration wavers easily. The Stotras are rhythmically-composed verses in the praise of a deity and hold your concentration better.
Aditya Hrudayam stotra in praise of Sun (and indirectly his father Brahma), Lalita Sahasranama stotra in praise of Devi, Sri Rudram in praise of Lord Shiva and Vishnu Sahasranama stotra in praise of Lord Vishnu, are the most popular, powerful and effective Stotras for all round prosperity, spiritual progress and for the removal of all malefic effects. The various Vedas, Puranas and several astrological classics prescribe them as “cure-all remedies”. When rhythmically chanted in the Vedic style with correct pronunciation, these Stotras have a wonderful effect. It is the same with several other popular Stotras. I have personally benefited by reciting the Stotras and they gave very good results to several of my clients.
The effect will be even better if one knows the meaning of these Sanskrit verses. In the present day India not many do. A lot of people I know lamented about this, as it is not easy to find the correct translations. In fact a lot of them even had difficulty in getting the Stotras. Of the ones who could, not many were happy with the Devanagiri script. Hence, I decided to type the Stotras I regularly prescribe as remedies in English, and put them on the web. I spent the entire auspicious month of Kartika typing them in English. That is how this website was born.

Sanskrit, the divine language of India, is an enchanting musical language. It is a very scientific language with the help of which one can pronounce and write any sound known to man. It is also a very difficult language. The stotras and mantras written in the Sanskrit language are not easy to pronounce, especially for those who are not familiar with it.
These stotras are from the ancient Indian scriptures, written by the great seers like Veda Vyasa, Vasistha etc., as remedies for various misfortunes and to grant benefic results. When recited with faith, they produce auspicious results. If recited with the correct pronunciation and in the correct prescribed rhythm, the results are better.
These are provided free of cost. Please note that I don’t sell the CD’s.
